How do I get an API key?

The Usage page on developer.reka.ai shows requests and spend per model.
Billing & payments
How is pricing calculated?
For Chat Completions, you are charged per input and output token at each model’s rate. Cached input tokens are billed at the model’s cached-input rate.

Do I need to pre-pay?
Yes. Add credits to your account before making requests. If your balance hits $0, you’ll see P001: Insufficient Balance.
Can I get a volume discount?
Yes, for larger or committed use. Email contact@reka.ai.
Security & compliance
Is Reka AI SOC 2 compliant?
Yes. Reka is SOC 2 Type I certified, as of June 2025. Email contact@reka.ai for a copy of the report.
